GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Requirements
- A passion in solving geotechnical engineering problems.
- A recognised Bachelor’s Degree and above in Civil Engineering.
- Preferably having some years of working experience on geotechnical design.
- Past experiences in engineering consulting firm will be an advantage.
- However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proactive, hard working and independent.

- Able to write and converse well in English, due to the constant need to liaise with multinational corporates.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be tasked with the following assignments :
- Geotechnical design calculation and analysis on
- deep and shallow foundation,
- slope stability,
- ground improvement, and etc.
- Preparation of various geotechnical reports and documents, including but not limited to
- engineering design reports,
- engineering assessment reports,
- tender evaluation reports,
- minutes of meeting,
- bill of quantities,
- engineer’s estimates,
- letters, and
- emails.
- Project managing tasks, such as
- the preparation of tender as well as contract document,
- attending to the site progress meeting and inspection, as well as
- coordination with site supervision team.
- Liaise with various clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors on technical matters.
- Review engineering drawings and reports.
- Carry out field mapping work and site visit to ascertain the site condition.
- Any other miscellaneous tasks.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Job Description:
- Well verse with RC, Steel and Composite Codes of Practice.
- Experience in handling of private and government project
- Experienced in design analysis, optimize structural drawings, technical reports and design calculation report compilation.
- Independent, willing to work extra hours, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to fulfill deadlines.
- Familiar in liaison with Client, other Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, Specialist, etc .
- Familiar with project specifications, Contract, etc.
- Overseeing project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs
- Adhere to the best practices, latest standards, UBBL and procedures of the company.
- Any ad-hoc tasks that may be needed or assigned by Management from time to time.
- Willing to undertake project and travel outside Klang Valley to attend project meetings.
- Can work under ISO environment with proper documentation and time sheet.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil).
- 3 to 5 years of working experience with Consultants in the structural engineering work.
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as Staad Pro, Orion, Esteem, Tekla Structure, etc.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Malay
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering and construction specifications, standards, and latest codes of practice.
- Capable to operate AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is an advantage.
- Know ledge and project experience in BIM will be an advantage.
- Possess high capabilities in planning and coordination with variety of internal and external parties.
- Able to coordinate with other fellow engineers and drafter to accomplish fast track projects within tight schedules.
ENGINEER (ROAD & HIGHWAY)
Requirements
- A passion in solving road & highway engineering problems.
- A recognised Bachelor’s Degree and above in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Having at least 5 years of working experience in designing road & highway within an engineering consulting firm.
- Experienced in road & highway geometric design using MX Road.
- Good proficiency in Civil3D software will be an advantage.
- Proactive, hardworking and independent.
- Focus and dedicated to the given assignments.
- Able to write and converse well in English.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out engineering design calculation and analysis for various road & highway projects.
- Preparation of various road & highway engineering reports and documents, including but not limited to engineering design reports, engineering assessment reports, tender evaluation reports, bill of quantities, engineer’s estimates

SENIOR INSPECTOR OF WORKS (IOW)
Project: Ground Treatment & Earthworks Project
Location: Kuala Langat, Selangor
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in in construction site inspection or supervision.
- Relevant experience in ground treatment and earthworks is required.
- Good knowledge of ground improvement, earthworks and construction practices.
- Strong understanding of construction quality control and inspection procedures.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Good observation, documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be based at Kuala Langat, Selangor.
Job Description
- Supervise and inspect ground treatment, earthworks and related construction activities at site.
- Monitor the contractor’s construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Inspect workmanship, materials and completed works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor ground treatment and earthwork operations, including construction methods and quality of workmanship.
- Identify, record and report defects, discrepancies and non-conformance.
- Monitor construction progress and highlight any technical or site issues to the Engineer.
- Review and maintain site inspection records, checklists, photographs and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with the contractor, surveyors and other site personnel on inspection and construction matters.
- Monitoring the contractor’s compliance with quality, safety and project requirements.
- Participate in site meetings, inspections and discussions related to construction activities.
- Perform other duties related to site inspection and supervision as assigned.
INSPECTOR OF WORKS (IOW)
Project: Road Works Project
Location: Behor Mali, Perlis
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site inspection or supervision.
- Experience in road works/infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction practices, workmanship and quality control.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Good observation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively in a site environment.
- Willing to be based at Behor Mali, Perlis.
Job Description
- Supervise and inspect construction works at the project site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Monitor the contractor’s daily site activities and workmanship.
- Inspect materials delivered to site and verify that they comply with the approved specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of completed works.
- Identify and report defects, discrepancies and non-conformance to the Resident Engineer/Engineer.
- Monitor the progress of construction works and report any delays or issues.
- Maintain proper records of site inspections, construction activities and relevant site documentation.
- Assist the Resident Engineer/Engineer in monitoring the contractor’s compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the contractor and other site personnel regarding site and construction matters.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with relevant standards, specifications and approved drawings.
- Perform other duties related to site supervision and inspection as assigned.
